January 2010 NVZ derogation deadline set
September 22nd, 2009Livestock farmers in England will have until January 2010 to apply for a derogation for the amount of manure nitrogen they can apply during 2009. Farmers will be able to apply for a retrospective derigation which will allow up to 250kg/ha to be spread. Applications should be made before the end of January 2010.
The window for 2010 derogation applications will be from February 1 to April 30, 2010.
