Set in the middle of a large plot, this extensive family home offers spacious and well-proportioned accommodation arranged over two floors. On entering through the front door, via a glazed entrance porch with parquet flooring, a door opens to a large entrance hall which has doors to the Sitting Room / Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathroom and to Three bedrooms. Stairs rise to the first floor landing which in turn has doors opening to two further bedrooms, including the Master with en-suite shower room.
All rooms have plenty of natural light and the triple aspect Sitting Room / Dining Room is especially bright with glazed doors at one end of the room opening to the sun terrace and overlooking the swimming pool. This is a large room, partly divided in two by a feature fireplace with gas fire; Sitting Room to one side and Dining Room to the other. The Kitchen again offers plenty of space with a range of matching floor and wall units, built in oven with gas hob, integrated dishwasher and a Utility area at one end with space and plumbing for washing machine and tumble dryer. The central heating boiler has recently been replaced and is still covered by a warranty. From here a door opens to the driveway at the side of the property. The ground floor also has three bedrooms; one double and two singles and a large family bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle.
On the first floor, the landing area has doors opening to two further double bedrooms, including the Master bedroom with en-suite shower room and window overlooking the swimming pool and the rear garden. Again, the rooms are bright with plenty of natural light coming from the Velux roof windows.
This is a large property with lots of space and would suit a large family though also offers plenty of scope for development. There is room to extend (STPP).
Outside the property benefits from a long drive with plenty of parking. To the front the gardens are over 80ft long; mainly laid to lawn with mature trees.
A wooden five bar gate opens to give access to the Garage and to the Rear garden; mainly laid to lawn with a variety of plants, trees and shrubs, there is also a large sun terrace with swimming pool. The rear garden is divided into two separate areas, with one area offering potential to be divided off completely as a building plot (subject to planning permission).
The property is within easy commuting distance of the cities of Bath, Wells and Bristol. The famous Downside School is close at hand in the village of Stratton On The Fosse, with a number of excellent schools (both within the state and private systems) also being within easy reach. Radstock and Midsomer Norton town centres offer a wide range of local amenities including Doctors' and Dentists' surgeries, schools, library, supermarkets and shops.
