Withy Cottage is an extremely attractive country house situated in the heart of the village of Compton Martin.
On entering the property via the old part of the house you are immediately faced with charm and character. The cosy but well-proportioned two reception rooms are found either side of the hall. Both rooms benefit from attractive stone inglenook fireplaces.
The large inviting open plan room certainly gives this house a wow factor. This fabulous room consists of three parts. One of which is the dining area which accommodates a large dining room table. The adjoining Orangery allows an abundance of light to flow through making this a welcoming and light open space. This perfect place for entertaining overlooks the garden and has doors leading to the terraced seating area. The handcrafted Charles Yorke Kitchen completes the open plan space. The kitchen has been carefully designed with great attention to detail. There is a range of wall and base units with granite worktops, a Falcon dual fuel range cooker, double Belfast sink, built in larder cupboard and high quality integrated appliances.
Completing the ground floor are a utility room, cloakroom and family room/fifth bedroom.
Upstairs the charm continues throughout the house to the master bedroom with en-suite shower room. This light room enjoys lovely views of the garden. There are three further double bedrooms, a family bathroom and a separate cloakroom.
